I am very proud of the third grade for how hard they all worked and gave their very best effort on the CSAP.  They have all shown tremendous progress throughout the year.  Although, we still have a lot of learning to squeeze in.

 

            After Spring break, we hope to have an addition to out class, a leopard gecko.  We did some research and decide it may be the just right pet for our room in addition to the fish.  We will also be raising our butterfly larva near the end of April.  It is amazing how quickly they grow and change into a pupa.  If we are lucky, we will get to witness them emerge into butterflies.

 

            Before the school year ends, each third grader will be making a time-capsule.  The capsule will contain some treasures from the third grade, notes from fellow students, parents and family.  It is to be opened when they graduate from high school.  It is a fun way to remember the past and the dreams they have for the future.
