Dear Preschool Parents,

 

            We have had an exciting start to preschool!  The children are adjusting to their new environment and friends quite well! I am sure your child has come home cranky or very tired at least once since starting school! Let’s see if I can give you a quick glance of their day…… They have been working on:  sitting criss cross applesauce, listening skills, following directions, lining up, opening their own milk/juice cartons, asking to be excused from the meal table, catching their sneezes/coughs, washing all the germs off of their hands (before meals and sensory table play, & after using the bathroom), how to keep their hands to themselves(J), brushing their teeth, keeping track of their belongings, picking up after themselves, reading the colors BLUE AND RED, signing (ASL) and sounding the letters A,B,C, talking about the calendar, saying the pledge and adjusting to be away from their very special mommies and daddies.  WOW when you put it down in writing it seems overwhelming!  Of course this is just a small drop in the bucket!  Hopefully, even if they are tired or cranky they are enjoying coming to school!
