Current Openings:
6-12 ACADEMIC ADVISOR
Duties include but are not limited to: Individual I-cap development and completion; scholarship information and FAFSA training and assistance; college and post-secondary assistance and information.
KINDERGARTEN AND 1ST GRADE COMBINED CLASSROOM TEACHER
Duties include but are not limited to: Academic instruction in all areas except music/Art and PE; social and emotional development of all students within this classroom. The teacher will have ample opportunity to develop one-on-one rapport with individual students.
2ND AND 3RD GRADE COMBINED CLASSROOM TEACHER
Duties include but are not limited to: Academic instruction in all areas except music/Art and PE; social and emotional development of all students within this classroom. The teacher will have ample opportunity to develop one-on-one rapport with individual students.
6-12 MATH TEACHER
Duties include but are not limited to: Oversight and instruction of the math curriculum to grades 6-12. The teacher will have ample opportunity to develop one-on-one rapport with individual students. In some cases, grade levels may be combined.
KITCHEN MANAGER
Duties include but are not limited to: Prepare all meals in accordance with nutritional guidelines; will be responsible for creating monthly menus, along with ordering and keeping accurate inventory; work with CDE (Colorado Department of Education) on nutrition training; required to hold all certifications necessary for the position. Work in conjunction with the Public Health Department to ensure all safety mandates are met.
BUS DRIVERS
CDL-certified bus driver. Duties include transporting students to and from school.
Non-CDL certified driver is needed to transport a student to and from Boces East School in Calhan, CO. (No CDL required)
If you would be interested in obtaining your CDL and driving for Edison, the district may consider covering some of the costs associated with the CDL licensure.
TRANSPORTATION DIRECTOR
Duties include but are not limited to: Overseeing Edison SD 54JT transportation fleet; currently holding or willing to obtain a CDL; working with the front office and CDE to complete the CDE 40 for the State of Colorado along with any other required reports; coordinating all CDL-bus drivers and non-CDL drivers for required training; work with coaches and staff on transportation schedules; coordinate fleet servicing for all vehicles and buses.
PART-TIME MUSIC/ART TEACHER
Duties will include but not be limited to: Oversight and academic teaching for the music and arts programs, including developing and coordinating the annual all-school Christmas concert. The teacher will have ample opportunity to develop one-on-one rapport with individual students. In some cases, grade levels are combined.
