Ms. Lauryn Hutto directed and wrote “Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer: Cover-Up,” a Christmas play explaining the hit song “Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer.”
Edison Middle and High School students did an amazing job. Tim expertly played Grandpa, delivering each line efficiently and improvising when necessary to address technical difficulties. The audience laughed out loud throughout the play, enjoying the character’s witty banter.
The beautifully crafted minimalist set created a warm holiday setting and the sound effects, led by Nikolas Strickland, added to the comedic effects of the play’s dialogue.
With this play, Ms. Hutto has set the bar for future performances her first year at Edison.
